Actually,

J.T. Snow went over the plate as the boy ran out to pick up the bat.

Bell was heading for home and Snow turned, grabbed the kid by the jacket and launched him up into his arms before Bell got there.

The Angels catcher helped a little bit by keep his right arm out across the boy as he was watching the action.
