INTC has spent some of that RD $ with my company. The funny thing that we ran into with INTC was we pretty much had to build the pc of RD equipment before they would accept it. So from my experience atleast they are not throwing money away on things that don't work... I do suspect that the competition gains at INTC's expense...

Earlie, did you happen to catch the interview with Chuck Yeager on As It Happens just now?

Apparently he took an F-15 through the sound barrier for the last time this past weekend, at age 79. He was both remarkably humble, and lucid -- sounds like he'll be flying the "little stuff" (bushplanes, transports and P-51's - g) for years to come.

Talk about the right stuff ... I'll be glad if they just let me drive a car at age 79. <g>
