John, I'm surprised you would give that comparison. Really surprised.

National Review and Weekly Standard have been around for some time, have presented themselves honorably, even if many opinion doesn't always (ever?) match yours.

Scoop, on the other hand, when one takes the time to look around it, (no skimming)....has a gaggle of goose scratchings. I don't believe there is any there that you would consider "serious writers".....

this site looks to be about the equivalent of The Weekly Standard and National Review

You wondered where I was, so you typed that, huh? :^) Lets put it this way, it is not included on the "A&L" reference page. BTW, The Weekly Standard has been very poorly written lately. I hardly ever post them. The National Review, on the other hand, has been terrific, and I have been posting them constantly.
