justa, what do you think of the possibility that the dollar weakness is related to the brazil elections. since there was flight to dollar "quality" over the last month because of brazil, there may be a false sense of security and reverse currency flows with the election outcome now certain.

Re: I see nothing, absolutely nothing bullish about the dollar here Nor do I. However, I would not doubt that in this topsy turvy market, it will get spun that way. Drop could be the result of news that the Fed may drop rates yet again. Why don't they just fly over the country and shovel USD out the door...sorta like WPRK turkeys...<g> Early this AM, the dollar started to fall about an hour before gold started up. So, I'm glad to know some familiar relationships still exist...my RGLD & BGO are up nicely today...but, day is turning out to be a real disappointment...now at 1336...NDX green...what kind of gas are they pumping on THIS side of the pond?!!...if it's laughin gas, I ain't laughin'....jj
