Not true at all, Ed. Examples of global leaders - superpowers, really - that have arisen under the proud banner of [effective/implicit] anarchism would include such economic and industrial powerhouses as Somalia, Sudan, and - at various times - Afghanistan, for all practical purposes. Ah, that we might emulate the marvels of medicine, engineering, and science - let alone the phenominal impact on the quality of life - those and various nations like them have produced. There, leadership is available to whoever at a given moment has the most armed men, ammunition, and the truest aim. All of which, I should add, are awfully hard to muster when one spends a good deal of time immersed in political gedanken experiments, engorged with gourmet coffee and fast food. LPS5
