Those are sad lyrics.

Almost as sad as "don't think twice, it's alright."

I hope it wasn't self-referring.

There are indeed momentary lulls in the hostilities that are worth participating in. Makes wading through the dreck a bit less discouraging to know that there are some worthwhile needles to be found in the haystack.

I guess today wasn't "one of these mornings", eh?

We are a community of writers and philosophers, some with higher ability and some with lesser. I suppose when you rise to the top in your ability, it can be frustrating to read those of lesser quality writing and not to have anyone to look up to. Many of us enjoy your writing and your posts, as it is rare to find one who can exercise the mind to such a degree. Please use this forum to continue to climb to new heights in your practice of the science or writing and political theories and other philosophies. I am fond of reading your writing and only hope to attain 1/10th of your ability to write and post.

you could add a little class to the discussions

I always said you were an astute observer and highly perceptive. <g>

So are you still planning that road trip?

I'm leaving for Connecticut in a couple of weeks to take care of some business. Probably spend about 3 weeks there, then I'm taking an extended road trip to the sunny Southwest. Looking forward to doing nothing but relaxing and recreating for about a month.
