Hi Snowshoe, The soon to be pervasive realization of said <<condition>> will scare a lot of people, and I am not sure that government will be in position to help matters, because the govts are already playing such a big role in redistribution of pie. I do not relish a future where most are not in control of own destiny. And so, as Chairman Mao once said, 'dig tunnels deep and store rice'. So, I save, save, and save some more, even as saving out of active income is getting more difficult while protecting the savings getting near impossible.
