I have mentioned before that this "Speech is creating violence" approach is the latest method by Academia to try to shut down free speech on campus. We do see this one precisely the opposite. I see Pipes effort as one to shut down free speech. It's not speech, he's offering, but putting bulls eyes on faculty and their families. Our earlier instinct to say what we have to say on this one and move on is a good one. But I will continue to have to answer questions about my own position.
