You may want to qualify that to 'reported' serial killers. I have seen shows that detail the fact countries like Russia are not so forthcoming on criminal stats, etc. Also our records were in far better shape in early 1900's than most. Current secrecy surrounding deadly gas speaks volumes to why U.S. stats may seem so slanted. Notwithstanding that, we seem to have a lot of 'riders on the storm' types spooking America.

Perhaps that should say "known serial killers?" How many other countries have sophisticated linked information systems and/or free and open media that could identify and publicize that kind of information? Or, more the the point, how many don't?
