M, there's heaps of spectrum [though not for Globalstar to supply all needs as the big Globalstar cells are too inefficient with spectrum]. The problem is the cost of the infrastructure. It'll always be subject to overloading at peak times or under stress. Price is the traditional way of allocating scarce resources. Rationing is a bad way and general denial of service is worse.

Netilepsy is NOT a good thing to design into cyberspace. When a netileptic fit hits, people will get up in arms, moan and groan, there'll be big government investigations and declarations to "Find out why it happened and make sure it never happens again".

It would be better for them to investigate netilepsy now and do something about it, but that's not how governments or their short-sighted ignorant electorates act. They wait until disaster strikes, then wring their hands about it. Canceling the stupid government requirement for pricing plans to be submitted and approved would be a good place to start.

RoamAD Subject 53383 in 802.11g form will be OFDM, and that's more spectrum-efficient than CDMA, so I doubt we'll be seeing all CDMA. There are many ways of delivering data, from airfiber.com to GEOs to 802.11 to 1xEV-DO and DV, W-CDMA, WLL, Pulsed Monocycles timedomain.com and those I've left out.

PS: I doubt that Jon is taking my 'no' very seriously. I just wanted to show I can write really short posts.
