Open letter to Alan Greenspan: Dear sir: In general, we, the American people, share your enthusiasm for innovation and its potential to shape the economic future of our country. However, please keep in mind that while 40% of British households have digital television, and 60% of households in South Korea have broadband connections, the U.S. is somewhat behind in the penetration rates in these, and other, important areas. There is plenty of blame to go around, and our mission is not to point fingers. We would ask, however, that next time you decide to send aloft the stocks of a broad set of futuristic companies, please allow time for the American people themselves to have access to the technologies being hyped.
