a big welcome MadHarry ....

I handicap using speed only.....
just math figures ... very little fundamental analysis

I handicap the stock market the same way ....
just figures ... practically NO fundamental analysis

However, after reading the paper concerning Johnson's use of blinkers on Volponi ...
that kind of FA I will use .... should I know of it ....

Dallas News said that the horse had won his first race AFTER adding blinkers .... then tailed off ...
back off blinkers ..... wins .. then tailed off ....
and then Sat ... back to blinkers ....

I previously said I couldn't find Volponi ... did locate Thunderello and Domedriver ....
well, I can NOW find Volponi ..... ggggggggg

Bonapaw, in the Sprint, had my attention also ....
however, that was the toughest race for me to handicap the entire card .... really really tuff .....

I see in the paper this morning ...
in the top ten for Horse of the Year ...
Azeri will win

that vote means, according to the way I see it(and I do concur with most of the picks)

we saw for the year
the
BEST 2yo male and female === Vindication and Storm Flag Flying
BEST 3yo male and female === Medagila d'Oro and Farda Amiga
Best 4yo male and female === Orientate and Azeri
run in highly competitive races Saturday .....

I personally think High Chaparral is the best 3yo male, but he did make the HoY list at sixth .....

Storm Flag Flying, in my feeble mind, STILL impressing me with that stretch run she made ....

as to the wagers ... I agree with your method on the w/p and on the exactas .....
I've gotten too old to change my ways, though ....ggggggg

Nemer

ps
I rarely bet any doubles, exactas, tris, etc ...
and haven't bet a picksix or pick three in years .....
