You're right... it's not clean.... the 3rd day must close below the first days low and it's close.

If today accomplishes that task closing below 8277.87, then we've got a variation. It would be somewhat like the bar pattern high of late Aug.

30min spiral held....., today should be a pivot bar for this move.

SPX held a 30min spiral... broke large 30min left open and testing another... lotsa room.
