It is a sad world for the great majority of people. Jewels was correct. Most people are poor, hungry, diseased, or otherwise afflicted. They are powerless, exploited, distressed, and suffering daily from the deaths and infirmities of their loved ones. They are in squalor and misery. Studies show that even people with most of everything are unhappy for the most part. TSE was unhappy for much of his life. Grief is ubiquitous; happiness is relatively rare.

Even in the affluent U.S., 2000 people attempt suicide every day...
