Until fairly recently, we had no bases in the Arab Middle East. It took the Iraqi threat to the Arabian Peninsula to change that. Nor did we "rape their natural resources", they were paid handsomely for drilling in their territories. Now, with OPEC, the historical price of crude, adjusted for inflation, is not much more than it was before OPEC was formed. Clearly, we have not been imposing anything on them, or there would not be a bunch of dictatorships, some of them virtually theocratic, in the region. In short, your post is a bunch of claptrap.......
