I had about given up in despair save for the first few minutes of CBS.

I don't know how you have lasted this long. The "Nationals" have picked up all the bad habits of the "Locals" and are in the Entertainment business almost exclusively. PBS gives you the "up front" rundown, so you can skip any boring segments.

I will follow the Brazilian story closely. After the "Honeymoon," we will see how the World Financial Market reacts to this guy. If Brazil goes down, it will make a quagmire out of South America, and the world knows this. I really feel sorry for the individual Argentinians if this happens.

I have heard that Brazil is a real "Oligarchy" with 10% of the people getting 50% of the National Income. I understand it is also a very racial situation.
