"TD-SCDMA is a known quantity, meaning it is one of the CDMA flavors in the 3G standard, and is included in the license agreements that Qualcomm signed with the Chinese officials 18 months ago. Should TD-SCDMA be adopted, Chinese companies will pay royalties to Qualcomm at the same rate as they do for WCDMA and 1x. Qualcomm has also said that it will support the standard with chipsets if necessary."

"...We continue with our Buy/Aggressive rating."
