HI Steve,

Turbo's are often used to boost performance.

Maintenance on diesel pumps and injectors is very expensive.

Disel is to Cadillac as gas engines are to Hyundai - they are the most expensive out there.

They last much longer.

They are expensive.

GM's diesel made by Isuzu cost 4,000 extra.

Ford's power stroke made by international is also 4000 more

Dodges diesel made by Cummins as also 4000.

In the US diesel fuel will often be more expensive than gas (when prices are low/barrel)

Diesel is hard to justify on an expense savings basis unless the Government really taxes gas hard and leaves diesel alone.
