I wouldn't call secular "fears" unfounded. In fact they are based on history, and economic models. Both history and these economic models say that odds are low we just immediately jump back into long term bull market/growth after what we went through since 1982. What is more likely is a decade or more of digesting capacity and debt with many ups and downs along the way.
