What are you babbling about? Are you saying that Pol Pot stole American B-52s and used them to bomb his own country?

This is an impossible argument. An interesting point is that these folks view American policy and power as omnipotent. Obviously everything bad that happens is our fault and the interventions by the USSR, China and North Vietnam had nothing to do with this (they were there for humanitarian purposes or something).

However, we were not on the side of God or anything.

We could argue these points forever, but I would rather not.

It was the Cold War, we fought the USSR on a lot of fronts with a lot of proxies and they did the same. It wasn't pretty, but that was then.

The real question is where do we go from here.
