His reply would be interesting....it certainly was an inexcusable lapse if he has no adquate explanation. He ought to publicly apologize to Mondale if he was incorrect, otherwise, he's no better than all the demolib pinheads who seek to scare seniors over their SS and Medicare benefits with each election cycle.
