Thre are joys and sorrows in all lives. It is only a sad world for those who minimize the former and emphasize the latter.

Since I don't believe most people do this, I don't believe it's a sad world.

Of course your other statement is plain silly, and fortuantely you're smart enough to know it, so I don't need to worry about it. It was a mere debating ploy, and I don't worry about those.
