Win, I reckon Bill Clinton ought to take on the job of revamping the United Nations into something sensible instead of the current WWII victors' club with zero democratic content [dictators voting for Israel to be canceled is not democracy].

I'm sure he'd relish the job. That would be one in the eye for the obsessive "I hate Bill C" crowd, which would be fun in its own right.

Internationally, Bill C would have the standing to take it on.

I should give Hu Jintao a call. He'd go for the deal.

King George II and Bill C would see eye to eye and it'd be a lot of fun for everyone around the world. Something constructive instead of the Saddam/N Korea/Chechen/Bali/Arafat/Adams Matrix of Malevolence muck.

The world would love it! The politicians would too. There could be a big jamboree, with hotels, first class air travel, girls, wine, food, fun, posturing and pleasure.

I recommend the jamboree take place in one of Saddam's palaces, with subcommittees meeting in other palaces. Heck, Saddam might have unwittingly built the perfect new headquarters for the reconstituted 2002 United Nations.

That would be a stabilizing influence in the middle east. It would give the Iraqis hope. It would take civilization back to the cradle of civilization, which would be fun [as long as the air conditioning was working].

The first meeting could be scheduled for 12 March 2003 [by which time the USA/Britain should have sorted out Saddam and co, who could be exiled to Syria].

Funding could be from open-tap exports of Iraqi oil.
