Unless you believe in demons, demonically is going to be a straw man. Even if you DID believe in demons, on a literal level calling someone a demon is demonizing them. IMO

Look at the definition, truth doesn't get you out from under the word:

tr.v. de·mon·ized, de·mon·iz·ing, de·mon·iz·es
To turn into or as if into a demon.
To possess by or as if by a demon.
To represent as evil or diabolic: wartime propaganda that demonizes the enemy.

They talk about propaganda, but looking at other definitions, it doesn't have to be false- you only need represent something as diabolic.
