Thanks for the lecture, but I don't think the issue T and others have raised has anything to do with adjusting the debts of an individual. Perhaps you were thinking Chapter 11, instead. But that's OK - most people are not aware of the distinctions.

BTW, since you don't seem to be up on the matter, the issue they've raised is essentially one of whether the bankruptcy code can be used to gain a competitive advantage through elimination of debts.

I think you mean Chapter 11 and not Chapter 13, which I believe is personal bankruptcy.
