Spirit was just a word invented to describe the breath in the dark ages when superstitious people recognized that the breath was essential to life. They also believed in "demons" and such, as is recorded in the bible and in other primitive writings. Diseases like leprosy were punishment for sin and evil (:-)), and were "cured" by strange incantations and rituals to cast out the demons and purify the "spirit"...<ggg>>> To repeat...
