One can certainly tell what generation I am from, just reading that made me smile.

This entire conversation about how a simple song can take one back in the life to another time and place is so very true.

Somewhere in my attic, I have my first "record" case. I remember it clearly. I got it for Christmas one year, along with a similar album case. In the 45's case, were three singles. I got a record player that year as well. I don't remember what the three singles were. I do know that one of the later acquired singles in that case is, "The Lion Sleeps Tonight"

<is it "The" or "A"??>
