$bpndx is rolling over. It has been a very reliable indicator of recent peaks and valleys. Will the markets be allowed to take a dump before the elections? that is the question.

Yeah the failure to break below 860 is definitely keeping alive a possible move up to 930 or higher. Actually it if goes any higher it is going back into that channel/rising wedge we broke down from today, and that could be a major hound signal leading to yet more short covering.

Fleckenstein was on Cramer and Sidlow (CNBC) a few minutes ago. Fleckensein said the upside move is just about over. In an apologetic tone, he said that the market has a ways to go down. Wayne Angell, with whom he debated, disagreed.
