It sounds as though you hold that a little self-doubt is a good thing where moral issues are concerned. Is this the case?

I hope she says yes. Nothing scares me more than a fanatic who is convinced of their absolute moral certainty. Not just a murdering fanatic, but any kind of fanatic, even the ones who come to my door convinced that if they don't persuade me to adopt their religious beliefs my whole family is condemned to burn in hell everlasting.

Is there any moral issue that you are absolutly, unequivocally, unerringly committed to with no room whatsoever for any possibility of doubt?
