Now there's quite a vote of confidence:

"For the first time since 9/11, Bush's job-approval ratings have dropped below those Bill Clinton maintained
throughout his second term, even in the midst of impeachment proceedings."

People will continue to support Bush,
unless they're layed off, or they lost all their savings, or the safety net benefits have been cut. Hey - he won the trifecta.

Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock

news.bbc.co.uk

>>However, BBC UN correspondent Peter Biles says that in spite of the apparent sense of urgency, Washington is not ruling the possibility that a vote on a resolution may not now take place until next week, after the mid-term elections on 5 November.

A senior State Department official is quoted by the French news agency AFP as saying: "It looks like we're getting pretty close. It doesn't look like there will be a vote until at least next week or the week after. The earliest would be next week after the election." <<

This will keep GWB from claiming a victory prior to elections. This is not working out too well for the republicans, as it appears the stalled, or slow moving, negotiations in the UNSC have taken the bluster out of the momentum and the wind's of war out of the sails.

But this stat is a mindbender :

>>For the first time since 9/11, Bush's job-approval ratings have dropped below those Bill Clinton maintained throughout his second term, even in the midst of impeachment proceedings.

WOW!!!!

What can turn this around before the elections?
