"Conscientious objectors aren't killing anyone in the service of their belief, so I fail to see how that works for you."

You said that people of conscience are equivalent to fanatics. I disagree and find that a conscience is actually the saving grace that keeps people who live a life of principle from being fanatics. I used as an example how people who are "conscientious objectors" refuse to kill because they see it as political extremism. They have base on their principles of living made a conscientious choice on the matter.

You used the willingness to kill as a test to prove that conscientiousness is equivalent to fanaticism; and I demonstrated how conscientiousness is something other than that.
