Polvo,

<stop yer whinin'>

yeah, but, but, but, the Celtics didn't win, the Sox didn't win, the Pat's won the superbowl but are losing now. In Albuquerque you don't have all these teams to worry about! <g>

actually it's the
Isotopes - of Homer Simpson fame

Now there's an original team name for ya.

It sort of scares ya more than the name Tigers or Diamondbacks.

It makes you think if ya hit 'em too hard something bad might happen.

I wonder what the team mascot will look like?

Polvito,

Buffalo has a triple A team (the Bisons). They built the stadium right in the middle of the city right on the rapid transit line and elevated parking that leads into the stadium. It has the look and feel of Camden Yard..there isn't a bad seat in the field. They sell out every game. The games have a great atmosphere.

Three years ago Bobby Rich (owner of Rich Products and the franchise) was among one of the cities that MLB considered for a major league team. They told him to put in a bank of executive boxes and another deck of seats. He told them he wasn't interested. They still sell out....provide great baseball and they are making money.
