Odds are overwhelmingly in favor of a natural or mechanical explanation for the crash of Paul Wellstone's plane.

S2, it's too bad that the thought even occurred to the writer and we live in an atmosphere of monumental distrust. I'm thinking where is the writer's responsibility is in all this? He was tapping away on his laptop as the memorial service was taking place.

If he spews out "it is the public's right to know" I say that's total horseshit. Some of these news jockies aught to slither out of the gutter, think about the timing of such article and do some real research before they put this kind article out there.

Don't get me wrong, I don't trust Shrub and his colleagues (except Powell) but I would be damn sure if I tried to take them out with an editorial, I'd have some facts behind it.

My only argument is one of timing and content....this guy has no integrity or class at all....can you imagine Reston or any of his colleagues ever writing a column like this?

An the supreme irony...Senator Wellstone never would have written anything like this.
