No, I was just remembering with fondness, and sadness, the teachers I had in the past who taught me to stand up for my beliefs, especially when what I have to say is unpopular.

My guess is that more lawyers get killed than college professors in the US these days, but standing up for our beliefs and for the rights of our clients is part of the job description.
