Darn, I can't count. I wanted to use numbs toes, but it didn't fit. So I thought.

Revised;

With little hope left
Cold winter wind numbs my nose
Yet mercy survives

Since most people don't wear sandals in the winter, like I did today, I changed it to nose so common people can relate better. <g>
