It pays to Discover 2 posts from my board on the FOOL I use a Discover Card that has no annual fee and pays me 1% on all of my purchases. I pay the entire balance each month and I'm never charged a finance charge. So, I use their money for a month and then they send me 1% back! I can top that, I took my $20 cash back from Discover as a prepaid Blockbuster rental card for 10 rentals, which is worth $35. I also kept the stuffer from my bill that says I would get $40 worth of rentals from Blockbuster. Just to be an SOB, I just might write to Discover when the card is exhausted and enclose copies of the Blockbuster receipts showing I received $34.90 of value, and a copy of their insert promising $40.00 of value.
