"would you believe me if I said I did have such recollection?" I would discuss it with you before drawing any conclusions. Extraordinary assertions require extraordinary proof. It is true I cannot prove you were NOT alive 5000 years ago. But neither can I prove you are not a rat pretending to be a cow pretending to be you. It is not my job to disprove infinite nonsense. If you think you were something 5000 years ago then you can either pass on the evidence or keep it to yourself, my friend. Your choice. I certainly am not going to try to prove that an infinite number of assertions are "wrong". But I will look at one at a time...
