Both party's need to get rid of these hatchet men. Here in NC there are some very bad ads running for both Bowles and Dole. I have no idea who started it - (and does that matter?) - the lack of positive ads is disgusting. Your often left with a choice on who to vote against.

Just before the Dukakis election some kids were over playing (we were not in NC then). One of them made a very strange political comment about Dukakis - even stranger considering he was 7. I later found out his dad ran a media firm and Produced the Horton ad.
