There is a for-charity flag football game Sat between the wives of both teams.

I bet my mini Packers could kick their buts.<g>

Our season just ended this past Sunday. I missed the game.
It sure went by quickly. I'm sad it's over.

The team sort of went into an uncontrolled tail spin for the last 3 games of the year. We lost them all.

Us coaches had our bubble popped when we realized we were not the next Lombardis.

It seemed that each week we played a tougher team.
Our fast kid didn't seem quite as fast after a while.

Our beefy front line was good at getting us into the endzone when we were close to it. But otherwise we could not turn the corners and race up field fast enough.
And our defense was toast if we let their running back past the line of scrimmage.

I learned a lot this year though.
And it sure was fun.

Next year many of the kids and coaches will be moving up to the next level. My son is not old enough yet. In addition my youngest son will be allowed to play next year, too.
I'll probably be the head coach this time.

I'll have to do some recruiting during the spring baseball and soccer season... <g> <ng>
