<<His major was rhetoric; I'm sure Hugh Douglass has fun with that one.>> Lol! And yes Tim was are best defensive player for several years.
As he was a natural, he went off to Hollywood and became a professional stuntman.
Also he turned up in movies in bit parts over the years.
And the fans loved him, basically since he was the only player at the time that actually was doing real tackling on the field:) This remember is during the darkest days of Eagles history---we had one rotten football team after another in that period. The only real players that jump into my mind from that period are Rossovich and Tom Woodeshick(every quarterback was the quarterback from hell--Snead was the slowest moving man i have ever seen at QB:)
Kuharich, and Eddie Khayat and some other coach can't remember(fortunately:) Max

<<A tough and intense player, Welbourn continues to make a name for himself since being the club’s 4th round pick in 1999>> that's makes him part of Reid's first draft. Max

JB, Bears are dressing Damon Moore for the Eagles game. He had been on the PUP list all year.
I won't pretend, i would love to see Damon come out and look healthy and ready.
We owe a lot to Damon. We lose the Giant game last year if it wasn't for his sensational chase down tackle. If it wasn't for the fact his contract had run-out he would never have been cut in the first place. It was just a cold dollar and cents move by Eagles regards Moore. Max
<<Bears activate S Damon Moore from PUP list
November 1, 2002

LAKE FOREST, Illinois (Ticker) - The Chicago Bears activated safety Damon Moore from the physically-unable-to-perform list on Friday, two days before Moore's former team comes to visit.

Moore started every game for the Philadelphia Eagles each of the last two years, but tore his left ACL in the NFC championship game last January and was waived by the team.

While rehabbing the knee, Moore signed with the Bears but started this season on the PUP list. He returned to practice on October 23 and targeted his return for Sunday, when the Bears will host the Eagles.

A fourth-round pick of Philadelphia in 1999, Moore led the Eagles in takeaways last season with four fumble recoveries and two interceptions and had a career-high 105 tackles.

In the divisional playoffs, Moore had an interception in the Eagles' 33-19 win at Chicago and recorded six tackles in the NFC championship game at St. Louis before leaving with the knee injury.>>

JB, if we had blown todays game(and we gave it a try)---i use this to stress the Eagles have NO margin for error, as Homefield in playoffs will be vital. 49ers and GB are deadly on their homefield--if we had lost 49ers are 6-2 GB 6-1, and we are AGAIN a very iffy team that would be 5-3 with both Redskins and Giants at 4-4 and given both a whole new life.
If we had lost today i would have been certain we aren't going anywhere.
I will remain as demanding of this team Eagles like no other Eagle team before it.
So it was very satisfying to see the defense come out in the 2nd half and totally dominate the Bears--but where were the first half????.
What a season--- Oakland now has lost 4 in a row. Patriots go to Buffalo and beat them 38-7!! In the MUST game of their season.
Jets go to San Diego and CRUSH them. wild. Max p.s. We beat 49ers in S.F., and i will know this team has escaped "they are good,BUT" category.
