Perhaps the economy is not as bad as we think, perhaps its a political agenda by the liberal biased press to make the economy as bad as possible prior to the election. Looking at it from my perspective, I've only known one person who lost his job in the last year and he's working again. Pick up the FN paper some time. Look at help wanted ads. The Chicago Tribune used to have 6-8 PAGES of adds for IT professionals, programmers etc. Now it is 1/2 page sometimes. I know many, including myself that can not find a job in that industry. Manufactoring jobs are headed to China Programming jobs are being outsourced to India I don't know what business you are in but, tech sucks and manufactoring sucks. There are layoffs all over the place. How many have just given up? Anyone who does not think the economy is in HORRID shape and getting worse either has their head up their ass or doesn't have a head to think with. M
