If you want to see terrorism on the most massive scale ever, all you have to do is find an instant replacement for Oil. If say, hydrogen fuel cells were viable tomorrow and we stopped using oil, what would happen?

The money that goes to the middle east would dry up and and result in staggering poverty. U.S. would be blamed for sabotaging the Arab countries. Then you would have the mother of all jihad's on your hands.
