Sender, I too had any SEMI's and BTK's from 96-2000, but too make a statement that 2002 or 2003 will be anything like 99 is insane.

The market overall in SEMI WORLD is CONTRACTING still, which tells me we are not even close to a bottom yet. If you research what happened in 97-99 you will see we had an EXPANDING MULTIPLE on sales for chips slowly increased over 97-2000. Now we have flat demand if that, and most are down over 40% for sales year over year.

I am looking at the 94-96 models in the CHIPS to gauge a bottom, and if you take that look its not a long trade here.

One last thing the BTB that came out tells me also this is not a long trade.
