COMP: yes. Turns out 1340 area was support in early July before the final plunge. It then provided resistance for the late July AND early September shoulders of the July thru August H&S formation.

So it is definitely credible resistance.

Trader's Special: Tenet Healthcare
By James J. Cramer
10/31/2002 14:39
Enough already with the selling of winners. Seven million shares of Tenet Healthcare THC just gets slapped on, and that tells me that we are probably through with the selling. I would take a stab at the stock right here for a trade.

Why is it going down? Why is UnitedHealth UNH going down? Why is HCA HCA going down? Simple: Mutual funds have gains that they are locking in. It is a time-honored process, and they sure have the losses to match with them!

Could Tenet be running out of steam after a couple of years of massive outperformance? Certainly.

Could there be something in the federal government's health care budget that could hurt THC that nobody knows about, a la Healthsouth HRC ? Sure.

Which is why I call this one a trade into next Tuesday. It just seems too right.

I'd buy it. Right now. I bet you make a couple of points in a couple of days.

In this market, with these low commissions, that's worth doing.
