SPX has now formed a rising trendline across the lows from yesterday and the one just formed 10 minutes ago. If this line cracks I expect more significant selling, and it could coincide with it losing 885 again.

Brian: Hate to repeat myself <g>. It is all about the dollar. 106.60 now on delayed down .47. Let's see...you are some foreign money manager trying to play the big new bull market in the US. Now the SPX has done nothing for quite a spell. But foreign money managers, net-net, are seeing any profits erode on a daily basis from the rally peak as the dollar bleeds. Dollar now below 10/10 levels. Jeff's killing field has found a willing accomplice in the dollar. So, the dollar continues to bleed and what does this mean for, say, interest rates? Will Greenie really lower rates to put more pressure on the dollar? Greenie is between a rock and a hard place. If he does, dollar goes toast at a faster rate. If he does not, dollar goes to toast at a slower rate. Dollar is toast no matter. Do you want your toast cooked quickly or slowly? Toast is toast to me.
