I think we have discussed previously how no-one gives a continental about the Palestinians --- and that includes their Arab and Muslim bretheren. However, that doesn't justify Israel's attitude in the matter either. Israel is in violation of innumerable UN Resolutions concerning the Palestinians and also the fundamental basis for the creation of the State of Israel in that there would also be a Palestinian State. Since 1948, when the State of Israel was created by UN Charter, Israel has occupied land which was identified for the Palestinians in the original agreements and which, in fact, is the fundamental bone of contention. Unfortunately, at the time of creation of the State of Israel, and for whatever reason, the UN omitted to define the details of a Palestinian State. Of course, today, Israel and its allies in the Amen Corner now refer to the Bible when they attempt to justify Israeli occupation of the West Bank land as if the Bible gives them rights over and above the UN. Israel now makes out that the problem is "terrorism" but "terrorism" is, in fact, the response to Israel's intransigence. Anyway, Israel was the first nation to use terrorism (Stern gang, Haganah, etc ) so it shouldn't feel so bad because terrorism is used against it.
