How about that Harvey Pitt, going to his underling inspector general to give him a clean bill of health on his appointment of Webster.
Why wouldn't that work though, after all the SEC cleared Bush junior of any improprieties (without even interviewing him) while his daddy was president.
Poor Georgie Boy, it's probably extremely difficult to find a Republican with as much integrity as Harvey. And if the pres. doesn't show unwavering support, ol Harvey might just get interested in reviewing Cheney's shenanigans at Haliburton. What's a pres. to do?
