12:35 (Dow Jones) Off-floor trader says it's notable that cotton (a commodity
with a high degree of correlation to inflation) is trading higher, and says the
turn higher corroborates the strength in the CRB index. He adds that grains
have broken out of a multiple yearlong lateral base. The breakouts, he says,
are very bullish and suggest multiple-year rallies. "Higher commodities in
conjunction with an expanding liquidity strongly suggests that inflationary
pressures will eventually develop," he says. (CMN)

Harvey Pitt from day 1 was a poor choice...The guy made his living representing the same folks he is supposed to go after.. and he came in with a 'gentler and kinder' SEC in mind.. When Levitt was pushing for restrictions on big accounting firms from consulting and auditing at the same client, Pitt was representing the accountants...Why is Pitt still at the helm of the SEC...Hello, who selected this guy...?? Even Repubs like McCain are calling for Pitt to resign. Come on Dubya, step up to the plate and make the tough BUT WISE decision to fire Harvey Pitt.
