Glad you made it back safely.

It's surprising the number of folks who expressed deep concern when we said we were going to Turkey. I personally didn't give it a second thought, but I guess proximity is what has people worried.

Even if Saddam were to lob a missile, his max range is about 700 miles and that doesn't get too far into Turkey. Our trip was confined to the western half and to be honest, I felt as safe there as I do in the Ozarks.
