Also deals with forgiveness of sin by God.

It may be, if the Bible is accurate, that God will find that I have sinned against Poet, and refuse to forgive me because I have not acknowledged sin there. And if I were a Catholic and seeking absolution from a priest, and he determined that I had sinned, he might refuse to absolve me until I had confessed and expressed contrition for the sin.

But that has, IMO, nothing to do with whether as a Christian, if she still is one (she once said she was), Poet has an obligation to forgive me WITHOUT demanding anything from me, in order herself to be entitled to receive forgiveness of HER sins, if she has committed any.
